First Social Media Platform Utilized

I chose Instagram because this is one of the most used social media platforms by people in college. This platform is usually used by a younger crowd, but you can also reach outside of the typical age-range as well.This would allow posts that are visual aids to our customers considering you post pictures and videos on this platform that I have chosen. The way I intend on engaging with my customers/viewers via these platforms is that I will create graphics that allure people’s attention to my product.

  • Type of Content:

    • High-quality visuals of the toothbrush in use, emphasizing its sleek design.

    • "Before and after" posts highlighting improved oral health with the iO.

    • Stories and reels showcasing testimonials from IU Indianapolis students, dental hygiene tips, and behind-the-scenes looks at the product’s features.

    • Polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions on Stories to engage the audience.

  • Engagement Strategy:

    • Post at peak times (e.g., 12 PM to 2 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, when students are on lunch breaks or winding down).

    • Respond promptly to comments and DMs to build a conversational connection.

    • Encourage user-generated content through hashtags like #OralBforIU and rewards for participants.

    • Quick how-to tutorials and quirky skits emphasizing its advanced technology.

    • Collaborations with local micro-influencers at IU Indianapolis to reach a targeted audience authentically.

 

 

  • Engagement Strategy:

    • Post short, catchy videos during high-activity times (e.g., 10 AM to 12 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM).

    • Engage with trending hashtags like #SelfCareSaturday and #OralHealth.

    • Reply to comments with video responses to create personalized interactions.
